She still makes him cry...
Albert is not a crier or an emotional type of guy. The day Amelia was born he cried like a baby. After so many years of infertility, he thought he would never have children of his own. When the love of his life came to the world 3 years ago, he has cried over every little thing that Amelia has done for the first time. First laugh, first crawl, first walk, first poopy in the potty.
On Christmas morning we were all waiting for Amelia to wake up so we can see her expression when she saw all the gifts santa left. As she was coming down the steps her face was full of excitement. We all looked at each other and then at her. Of course, Albert had tears in his eyes.
Amelia asked "Santa was here?" "Can I open my presents?"...
Junior never makes him cry. I guess its the whole "Daddy's little girl" thing.

Christmas week is here...
I finally got all of the christmas gifts done. I tried to sneak the gifts out of the closet in my room so I can get them wrapped. Amelia was sleeping in my bed so I took advantage of the time. We wrapped almost all of them until I hear her little voice calling me. Albert ran upstairs to go lay in bed with her while I ran all over the living room putting gifts away and picking up the special santa wrapping paper.
I have no idea when I'll get the chance to wrap again.
She falls asleep at 9pm and I'm right along with her...lol
I changed the curtains to the living room and dining room this weekend. The house looks so different and festive. I love it. Makes me feel happy.
We're supposed to have family over on christmas day. I'm planning on baking lots of cookies and make dinner. I have no idea where I'll get the time to do that.
We really don't think anyone is coming over. I mean, I know the In-laws will but my cousin's usually come over to drop off gifts and just stay in the car. Not sure if my mom will stay long.

Today is our 10th year anniversary.
Ten years since we got together.
Albert and I met through a mutual friend. I was in the 7th grade and he was in the 8th. We didn't go to the same school. He came over with his friend Caesar (RIP) to see my friend Diana. Caesar and Diana liked each other and he was going to walk her home. Details are blurry since it's been so long. I saw him on and off thru Diana but it was until my first day at High School that we saw each other and really hit it off. We were boyfriend and girlfriend on and off thru 9th grade. He was in 10th. We didn't see each other again until I was pregnant with Deija.
I went over to my friend Carmen's house. He was best friends with Carmen's brother Georgy. He happened to have called Carmen's house that day and she told him I was there. The funny thing is that he touched my belly and said "I can't believe you're having a baby". "That baby would have been mine". That same day I went into labor...lol Deija was born one month premature.
When Deija was a little over a year, my ex and I broke up. I told Carmen and of course she told Albert right away. He kept calling me and calling me. He took me out for our first official date to the movies. We double dated with Georgy and his girlfriend. We watched "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer." We had our first kiss that night. Well our first kiss since High School. We've been together ever since.

Funny what you find online...
So I googled Deija's name to see if anything shows up and guess what I found.
Her aunt had posted some pics of Deija's 5th birthday.

Occassional feelings of insanity
So occasionally I get these dreams and when I wake up they happen.
It kind of drives me nuts.
Once I dreamt that my car was smoking out the hood and it happened. It started smoking. I dreamt the other day my boss was having a boy. He and his wife got their ultrasound done and guess what they are having? Yup, you guessed it right. I dreamt I had a flat and I got a flat.
Not all my dreams come true but I have such crazy dreams. Usually world disasters but the dreams that worry me are usually the simple dreams.
Last night I dreamt that I got into a bad car accident on my way to tonight's party. It might be because all week I've been nervous about driving all the way to Glassboro, NJ at night.
Before having this dream, I was laying in bed last night and just kept having a bad feeling about this party tonight. I know I'm making myself anxious for not good reason but I kept having fears of deaths and such.
When I talk to Albert about these feelings he just says that I'm over thinking things. Now I did dream a few nights ago that I had a flashback of what my prior life was like. In my dream I saw myself, standing in the doorway to my house when I started seeing the flashback. In the flashback, I was a housewive to a millioniare. I had this huge victorian dress and my hair was long and curly and I had a feather in my head. The dress was black and red.
When I woke up I told Albert and he just laughed and said that explains it all.
I asked what he meant. He just said that's why I am the way I am. I don't like to do housework because I had housekeepers in my prior life and I am very ambicious because I was rich. LOL
I was just upset that I had curly hair in my past life....lol
Anyway, I hate having dreams that feel so real. I also hate obsessing over them.

Our life this week!
So I'll start with Thanksgiving.
It was lovely. I cooked the Turkey and made some pastelon, pasta salad, and my dad brought us some pasteles his wife made. Dinner was yummy. We watch a Christmas movie and listened to some christmas music.
Black Friday we didn't go out shopping early because we didn't want to get involved in that shopping frenzy. However, we did go shopping after noon. Albert worked til 12 and then we went out. We came right back home right away though. We ended up decorating the tree and outside.
That night Junior got really sick. He started puking everywhere.
The following day he was laying down all day.
Sunday, Albert took him to the ER while I did my homework. My dad came over for a little while. Oh and Deija had a nice visit from the puberty fairy. She's gonna kill me for writing this in my blog..lol
Monday was my birthday and I had been up since the night before puking, cleaning Amelia's puke and Juniors'. Yup, all three of us were sick. Thankfully ours was a one day virus.
Tuesday - no progress for Junior. His gorgeous guns were starting to get so flimzy.
Yesterday back to the ER he went. His G6PD is apparently what is causing his virus to be much worst than it should be. We were advised to give him vitamins from now on so that he doesn't get so sick next time.
So here we are today. Tonight we are getting our family pictures done.
I can't wait. Last family pic we had done, Junior was in my belly. (See one of those pic above.) Prior to that, our last pic, Amelia was about 4 months old. Seems that we are way overdue to get updated family pictures.
I'll post them as soon as they come in.
Hopefully, next week will be a much better week and Junior gets his guns back.

A little update on us..
Sorry I haven't posted in a while but we've been so busy.
Well last week Junior was sick. I mean really sick. I had to take off 2 days from work to stay with him. It felt so good to be there for him. We bonded so much.
At the same time my babysitter went into labor last monday and we were stuck without a sitter. Her mom was my backup sitter but I guess she wanted to be there for her daughter all week. Understandable!
Today the kids are back with the sitter.
I'm am so overwhelmed with school right now. Four more weeks and I'm done.
Albert is also taking two classes and we just keep fighting (not literally) over the computer since our laptop isn't connecting to the internet.
We had a really nice weekend although we didn't do anything.
I had a Pure Romance demo on friday and one on saturday. Let me tell you that friday demo was in the worst neighborhood ever. I was so scared. Saturday's demo was awesome. It was the highest paying demo yet. I came home so happy. It was 12 girls and the average person bought over $100 worth of stuff.
Anyway, we were planning on going to spend Thanksgiving at the Poconos. We haven't rented the house yet. Albert thinks that we should just stay home and not spend the money. I really want to go. I want to be as far away as possible during the holidays. They are just too stressful for me.
We'll see what we end up doing. I really can't wait to have that long weekend.

Halloween 08
We had such great weather for Halloween. I got home and Albert had already dressed the kids. I got dressed and we went out trick or treating for a while. We hit about 8 city blocks and then came home to get the car. We headed over to our friend's Jolie's house. She was having a Halloween Party. It was so much fun. She even had a scary maze out in her basement. The kids were freaked out.

Holy Moly, Can I say I am freaked out?!!
I just started my last two classes. I am paranoid.
I have never been scared, intimidated or anything about school. But I have to biggest butterflies in my stomach that I could just puke.
I just opened the classes to look at the syllabus and the one class - BUS450 Policy and Strategy Formulation looks so scary. The professor posted a bunch of stuff about the class. Can I just say info overload???
I had to go to the gradebook just to see what is actually due each week because I was getting ready to drop the class and take it next year...lol
Anyway, its not gonna be that bad. I have to take a test on Nov 14th that will determine where I stand. Pretty much will determine what I've learned in that past 8 years...lol Its like a CPA type of exam. I suck at taking test. OY! Puke feelings are starting to come back.
My other class is Advanced Accounting and it doesn't seem terrible. There will be alot of Team involvement. Just great because I love waiting around for others to get done and have my grade be depended on others. (insert sarcasim)
I know ya'll probably aren't too interested in school hooplah but this means so much to me. I'm gonna be the first college graduate in my family. I will finally finish something that I have begun. This is a very important timeline of my life.

Junior is ALL boy...
and nothing keeps him busy. He spends most of the time in the kitchen taking my pots out of the cabinets. He picks up anything he can find and puts it somewhere else.
Yesterday he put a crayola stool inside a Bratz toy car. How is that even possible?? Its a big stool. LMAO!!
He is constantly climbing the sofa. He climbs all the way to the top and then I have to rescue him. And that throwing phase is still not going away. He throws my cell phone, the remote, really big toys. His strength is incredible.
I need to keep him busy. Nothing keeps him busy for longer than 2 minutes.
Then all I hear in the background is Amelia yelling. "Junie stop. No Junie. Get off Junie. Mama, Junior is touching me. Junior is grabbing me."
Oy!!!! OY!! OY!!!

He is constantly climbing the sofa. He climbs all the way to the top and then I have to rescue him. And that throwing phase is still not going away. He throws my cell phone, the remote, really big toys. His strength is incredible.
I need to keep him busy. Nothing keeps him busy for longer than 2 minutes.
Then all I hear in the background is Amelia yelling. "Junie stop. No Junie. Get off Junie. Mama, Junior is touching me. Junior is grabbing me."

My new hairdo...
So I got my haircut alot shorter than I wanted. I almost panicked when I saw how short it was but once my hair dresser Luisa blow dried it, I saw it wasn't that bad. So tell me what ya think.

Teenage years, here they come!!
I've been volunteered to take Deija and her friends bowling on sunday.
How did that happen? Well the lovely girls planned the bowling date and then told their mom's that Deija's mom will be driving them. Ha! Of course, Deija just asked if I could take her and her friends bowling.
I started to think that I could just drop them off and leave since its a few blocks away from our house. But nope, they need an adult present. Now I have to stay there too..?
Why can't another mom go instead of me? I have things to do on sunday.
Deija says that I'm the cool mom. I have no idea how I got that title but I'll take it and run before I start being the mean strict ole mother. :)
In addition to that, yesterday Deija's friend came over right after Deija had went to her dad's house overnight. The friend was carrying all these books and looked so frustrated. She is 9.
I told her Deija had just left and she gave me this sad look. I asked her if she needed anything. She said she wanted Deija to help her with her homework. I told her I could help if she wanted. So she came inside and I helped her. Thank goodness Deija was once in 3rd grade and just 3 years ago. It was still fresh in my mind.
I asked if her mom was still working. She said no, but that her mom was really stressed and she didn't want to bother her.
The little girl is so considerate. I bet Deija isn't like that...lol

My munchkins are doing so well at the sitters.
Junior is so good at the sitters. He isn't throwing stuff around. He isn't yelling much and takes long naps. Ha! So why doesn't that happen at home? That's because he is such a show off in front of his Mama. He knows his mom is going find everything he does cute so he gets away with it.
His latest thing is putting his head between my legs while I'm standing. Then he giggles. When I pick him up, he claps. Then after I put him down he just swings his legs in the air so I don't let him go. I just sit him on the floor. Of course, he has to clap again.
Amelia is doing great too. Except for she refuses to use the potty over there. The first day she peed 5 times on herself. I'm so done with potty training. I'm just gonna let her potty train herself when she's 18.
Other than that, they are really happy over at the sitter's house.
And the best part is how my house is still semi-decent when I get home. They usually did a great job at trashing it when they were home all day.

Albert goes back to daywork, Kids go to babysitters.
Today is Albert's first day at his old job. He hasn't worked the dayshift since I just pregnant with Junior. We had decided then that we couldn't afford childcare for two children so he was a stay at home dad. 3 months ago he started a night job at a furniture warehouse and then just got an offer to come back to work at the Steel Plant where he was a Forman.
I had forgotten what its like to get things ready for the kids and drop them off. Luckily our neighbor is our babysitter. She is great. She is 19 and expecting her first child next month. She lives with her mom and her mom helps with our kids.
She's been our sitter for the past 3 months but only for 2 hours a day.
I had to get her the high chair, extra clothes, diapers for Jr, food, and all that other good stuff.
The kids were happy staying there. I love that their house is so clean and no clutter anywhere. Makes me feel happy.
Deija was off school today for Columbus Day so she went next door too. I thought I'd feel weird leaving the kids but I didn't. I feel they are in great hands.
The good thing is that Albert will be home by 5 just like me. We only saw each other on the weekends and it was really putting a burden on us. I always felt like I was the only one doing anything. Now we'll both be home in the evenings together with the kids. I can't wait to get home already.

America's First Zoo
Yesterday turned out to be a good day. Albert didn't move out. He's gonna give us another try. So I suggested we go out and do something different rather than sitting in the house finding new ways to annoy each other.
We took the kids to the zoo. I hadn't been there in years. This was Amelia and Junior's first time at the zoo.
When we got there we realized that it was worth getting the one year family package and we can keep coming back when we run out of places to take the kids. Last week the zoo had camp and the kids got to spend the night at the zoo. For Halloween they are having a parade and the kids can come dressed up in their costumes.
Okay so here are some pics. Please bare that these are with my cell phone. My digi cam is broke.

Update
So where should I start? I'm feeling better today. I'm not Niagara Falls today.
We'll have to see what the future holds. God has something in store for us. I like to believe I'm not a terrible person. I have a good heart and my intentions for everything I do, come from my heart.
I also like to believe that the Valentin Family doesn't end here. I've always been a fighter and I refuse to let this journey end here. He will realize that we are part of a package. This will not work if we aren't all together. But I also want to be loved just for me. I know we have children together and he can't put them through this but I would want him to realize that "I'm" the reason he's really staying.
I'm actually surprised I haven't cried today. I've always been a crier.
I woke up with my "big girl" pants on today. I will leave everything in the hands of God. God knows I'm exhausted but he will hold my hand so we can prevail.
This is the only photo we have of us 5 together.

I feel like my world is crashing.
I have decided that this blog is not for sad relationship who-blah.
