Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I actually have nothing really interesting to write about. Junior hasn't made any real improvements with his speech. He's also been with a fever on and off since last week and then broke out in a rash. I've been nervous to give him anything because he's allergic to most anti-biotics. I gave him a little benadryl and it seems to be working. Amelia and Deija have been doing good. Amelia thinks that every single toy in the house is hers. She so darn territorial...lol I guess like her mother. Oh and forget everything I ever said about her potty training. Its a disaster. She can teach herself when she gets married...lol
Anyway, I got an email this morning from my brother that worried me. He said something had happened and he didn't have internet for a while. He didn't write much. I've been worried all day. I guess if he's writing, its a good thing.
Other than that, I just been busy with parties and tax season. My PR business is growing alot and I've been spending way too much time training my recruits.
Lots of good things are happening in my life right now so I'll just enjoy them while they last.

Brainstorming vacation for 2009
So I've been in kind of a rut lately. I'm not sure why. It may be the cold weather. I want to desperately get out of the house and do some fun things with the kids. Of course, I prefer not to spend money.
Albert and I are going to Las Vegas in March for my Pure Romance business. There will be lots to do there. They are having a golf outing for the guys and then a big gala for us to attend. I better start shopping for a nice dress. That will be our first time away from the kids.
My friends and I are planning Mommy Weekend for 2009. That will also be so much fun. We're still trying to decide where to stay since we are scattered all over the country. I can't wait. I miss them.
However, I feel like we should be planning a vacation with the kids as well. We haven't been on a family vacation since 2006. Amelia was about 10 months old and we had went to Cancun.
I'm so tried of the daily routine. I just need to get away. March isn't here soon enough.

She still makes him cry...
Albert is not a crier or an emotional type of guy. The day Amelia was born he cried like a baby. After so many years of infertility, he thought he would never have children of his own. When the love of his life came to the world 3 years ago, he has cried over every little thing that Amelia has done for the first time. First laugh, first crawl, first walk, first poopy in the potty.
On Christmas morning we were all waiting for Amelia to wake up so we can see her expression when she saw all the gifts santa left. As she was coming down the steps her face was full of excitement. We all looked at each other and then at her. Of course, Albert had tears in his eyes.
Amelia asked "Santa was here?" "Can I open my presents?"...
Junior never makes him cry. I guess its the whole "Daddy's little girl" thing.

Christmas week is here...
I finally got all of the christmas gifts done. I tried to sneak the gifts out of the closet in my room so I can get them wrapped. Amelia was sleeping in my bed so I took advantage of the time. We wrapped almost all of them until I hear her little voice calling me. Albert ran upstairs to go lay in bed with her while I ran all over the living room putting gifts away and picking up the special santa wrapping paper.
I have no idea when I'll get the chance to wrap again.
She falls asleep at 9pm and I'm right along with her...lol
I changed the curtains to the living room and dining room this weekend. The house looks so different and festive. I love it. Makes me feel happy.
We're supposed to have family over on christmas day. I'm planning on baking lots of cookies and make dinner. I have no idea where I'll get the time to do that.

Today is our 10th year anniversary.
Ten years since we got together.
Albert and I met through a mutual friend. I was in the 7th grade and he was in the 8th. We didn't go to the same school. He came over with his friend Caesar (RIP) to see my friend Diana. Caesar and Diana liked each other and he was going to walk her home. Details are blurry since it's been so long. I saw him on and off thru Diana but it was until my first day at High School that we saw each other and really hit it off. We were boyfriend and girlfriend on and off thru 9th grade. He was in 10th. We didn't see each other again until I was pregnant with Deija.
I went over to my friend Carmen's house. He was best friends with Carmen's brother Georgy. He happened to have called Carmen's house that day and she told him I was there. The funny thing is that he touched my belly and said "I can't believe you're having a baby". "That baby would have been mine". That same day I went into labor...lol Deija was born one month premature.
When Deija was a little over a year, my ex and I broke up. I told Carmen and of course she told Albert right away. He kept calling me and calling me. He took me out for our first official date to the movies. We double dated with Georgy and his girlfriend. We watched "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer." We had our first kiss that night. Well our first kiss since High School. We've been together ever since.

Funny what you find online...
So I googled Deija's name to see if anything shows up and guess what I found.

Occassional feelings of insanity
So occasionally I get these dreams and when I wake up they happen.
It kind of drives me nuts.
Once I dreamt that my car was smoking out the hood and it happened. It started smoking. I dreamt the other day my boss was having a boy. He and his wife got their ultrasound done and guess what they are having? Yup, you guessed it right. I dreamt I had a flat and I got a flat.
Not all my dreams come true but I have such crazy dreams. Usually world disasters but the dreams that worry me are usually the simple dreams.
Last night I dreamt that I got into a bad car accident on my way to tonight's party. It might be because all week I've been nervous about driving all the way to Glassboro, NJ at night.
Before having this dream, I was laying in bed last night and just kept having a bad feeling about this party tonight. I know I'm making myself anxious for not good reason but I kept having fears of deaths and such.
When I talk to Albert about these feelings he just says that I'm over thinking things. Now I did dream a few nights ago that I had a flashback of what my prior life was like. In my dream I saw myself, standing in the doorway to my house when I started seeing the flashback. In the flashback, I was a housewive to a millioniare. I had this huge victorian dress and my hair was long and curly and I had a feather in my head. The dress was black and red.
When I woke up I told Albert and he just laughed and said that explains it all.
I asked what he meant. He just said that's why I am the way I am. I don't like to do housework because I had housekeepers in my prior life and I am very ambicious because I was rich. LOL
I was just upset that I had curly hair in my past life....lol
Anyway, I hate having dreams that feel so real. I also hate obsessing over them.

Our life this week!
So I'll start with Thanksgiving.
It was lovely. I cooked the Turkey and made some pastelon, pasta salad, and my dad brought us some pasteles his wife made. Dinner was yummy. We watch a Christmas movie and listened to some christmas music.
Black Friday we didn't go out shopping early because we didn't want to get involved in that shopping frenzy. However, we did go shopping after noon. Albert worked til 12 and then we went out. We came right back home right away though. We ended up decorating the tree and outside.
That night Junior got really sick. He started puking everywhere.
The following day he was laying down all day.
Sunday, Albert took him to the ER while I did my homework. My dad came over for a little while. Oh and Deija had a nice visit from the puberty fairy. She's gonna kill me for writing this in my blog..lol
Monday was my birthday and I had been up since the night before puking, cleaning Amelia's puke and Juniors'. Yup, all three of us were sick. Thankfully ours was a one day virus.
Tuesday - no progress for Junior. His gorgeous guns were starting to get so flimzy.
Yesterday back to the ER he went. His G6PD is apparently what is causing his virus to be much worst than it should be. We were advised to give him vitamins from now on so that he doesn't get so sick next time.
So here we are today. Tonight we are getting our family pictures done.
I can't wait. Last family pic we had done, Junior was in my belly. (See one of those pic above.) Prior to that, our last pic, Amelia was about 4 months old. Seems that we are way overdue to get updated family pictures.
I'll post them as soon as they come in.
Hopefully, next week will be a much better week and Junior gets his guns back.

A little update on us..
Sorry I haven't posted in a while but we've been so busy.
Well last week Junior was sick. I mean really sick. I had to take off 2 days from work to stay with him. It felt so good to be there for him. We bonded so much.
At the same time my babysitter went into labor last monday and we were stuck without a sitter. Her mom was my backup sitter but I guess she wanted to be there for her daughter all week. Understandable!
Today the kids are back with the sitter.
I'm am so overwhelmed with school right now. Four more weeks and I'm done.
Albert is also taking two classes and we just keep fighting (not literally) over the computer since our laptop isn't connecting to the internet.
We had a really nice weekend although we didn't do anything.
I had a Pure Romance demo on friday and one on saturday. Let me tell you that friday demo was in the worst neighborhood ever. I was so scared. Saturday's demo was awesome. It was the highest paying demo yet. I came home so happy. It was 12 girls and the average person bought over $100 worth of stuff.
Anyway, we were planning on going to spend Thanksgiving at the Poconos. We haven't rented the house yet. Albert thinks that we should just stay home and not spend the money. I really want to go. I want to be as far away as possible during the holidays. They are just too stressful for me.
We'll see what we end up doing. I really can't wait to have that long weekend.

Halloween 08
We had such great weather for Halloween. I got home and Albert had already dressed the kids. I got dressed and we went out trick or treating for a while. We hit about 8 city blocks and then came home to get the car. We headed over to our friend's Jolie's house. She was having a Halloween Party. It was so much fun. She even had a scary maze out in her basement. The kids were freaked out.
