Wow! My brother rememered me on Mother's Day.

I was completely shocked when I spoke to my mom yesterday and she said my brother sent her flowers. Now my brother is most forgetful guy ever. He never even calls my mom for Mother's Day. I always tell him to call her. Not only that, he is still in Iraq at the moment so its not like I'm calling to remind him.

Well I get home and I got a package in the mail too. It was a nice spa set. He knows I kill flowers...lol

So double the surprise. One that he remembered our mom on Mother's Day and two that he remembered ME!!

April showers bring May flowers

at least that's what I wish to believe. It's been two weeks since albert and I broke up. We went to Las Vegas on March 10 thru the 14th. On March 15th he moved out. I've been holding up well. I just needed this. I didn't want to be part of a marriage that was no longer one.

It's tougher now - 2 weeks later than it was at first.
But like a good friend of mine says "It's a feeling, it will pass".

My baby boy turns 2 on April 19th. It's gonna be a good month. I'm pretty sure.

Today

I'm having such an emotional day today. I don't know what's going on in my head but I just wanna runaway. Far far away. I'm so overwhelmed by life right now.

A little update

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I actually have nothing really interesting to write about. Junior hasn't made any real improvements with his speech. He's also been with a fever on and off since last week and then broke out in a rash. I've been nervous to give him anything because he's allergic to most anti-biotics. I gave him a little benadryl and it seems to be working. Amelia and Deija have been doing good. Amelia thinks that every single toy in the house is hers. She so darn territorial...lol I guess like her mother. Oh and forget everything I ever said about her potty training. Its a disaster. She can teach herself when she gets married...lol

Anyway, I got an email this morning from my brother that worried me. He said something had happened and he didn't have internet for a while. He didn't write much. I've been worried all day. I guess if he's writing, its a good thing.
Other than that, I just been busy with parties and tax season. My PR business is growing alot and I've been spending way too much time training my recruits.

Lots of good things are happening in my life right now so I'll just enjoy them while they last.

Brainstorming vacation for 2009

So I've been in kind of a rut lately. I'm not sure why. It may be the cold weather. I want to desperately get out of the house and do some fun things with the kids. Of course, I prefer not to spend money.

Albert and I are going to Las Vegas in March for my Pure Romance business. There will be lots to do there. They are having a golf outing for the guys and then a big gala for us to attend. I better start shopping for a nice dress. That will be our first time away from the kids.

My friends and I are planning Mommy Weekend for 2009. That will also be so much fun. We're still trying to decide where to stay since we are scattered all over the country. I can't wait. I miss them.

However, I feel like we should be planning a vacation with the kids as well. We haven't been on a family vacation since 2006. Amelia was about 10 months old and we had went to Cancun.

I'm so tried of the daily routine. I just need to get away. March isn't here soon enough.
